It's original to say the least: a company that makes personalized children's books . At the time of writing, Lost My Name had already sold over one million books in 136 countries, with its greatest success being in the United Kingdom and the United States .
But what makes this British publisher so special that it deserves a post on Mundo de Livros ? Firstly, the fact that it creates books that all children will love, even those who don't like to read. And secondly, it was co-founded with a Portuguese designer.
It’s 2012, in London, when a group of four people come together. Among them is Pedro Serapicos , an illustrator and designer from Porto who is ready to be part of a new and exciting project. The idea is to create personalized books, aimed at children, that show the character on a quest to find his name. Lost My Name – translated into Portuguese Ai! Perdi o indonesia email list meu nome! – as the name of the company suggests, is the title of this book.
Or should we say books? The truth is that the project required the production of more than 200 stories, with hundreds of illustrations. In addition to this work, the project also required the participation of a team of programmers who had to prepare the website and combine the stories and illustrations with algorithms.

The story is always similar: it tells the story of a boy or girl in search of the letters of their name. The narrative always changes depending on the letters of the person to whom the book is given. Usually, the characters whose names begin with that letter return the letters so that the character can decode their name.
In my case, since my name is Eduardo, my story involves an Elephant, a Dragon, a Unicorn and so on.

The price of the book is set at 26.99 euros and includes free international shipping.
In an interview with Lusa news agency, Pedro Serapicos revealed that he joined the project right away after David Cadji-Newby , Asi Sharabi and Tal Oron – the other creative founders of the company – saw his portfolio on the Internet.
“The big secret is the narrative, which makes perfect sense and is specifically written for each child. It’s a book for bedtime reading, which creates a connection between children and adults,” said Pedro Serapicos .
